The Project

This project is a great example of how we got results through making the most of the right experts on our team! Using the right people with the relevant expertise meant that we were able to help Coventry Business School to work on their accreditation obligations for EFMD’s Accreditation Board (relating to EPAS) where areas for improvement had been noted.

H&A were asked to support Coventry in their efforts to strengthen their alumni network, develop a refreshed and compelling alumni programme and identify ways in which this group would be willing to be active, long term participants with the business school

What did we need to do?

• We went straight to the horses’s mouth… searching out and talking directly to alumni to get their impressions of existing activity, finding out what they really wanted from an alumni programme and capturing ways in which they would be willing to support their school and to “give back” going forward.

• From this research and feedback, we generated a clear strategy for action. This included a communication and engagement plan that was realistic, achievable and measurable, to monitor progress and show alignment to accreditation standards.

• Finally, with strategy and plans prepared, we were able to advise Coventry Business School on how best to implement relevant, easy-to-access alumni communications.
